Recent News (Updated 7-21-10)
- Pony and Midget Players- Don't forget to take your ImPACT test. It is a requirement for you to complete the test prior to starting practice. If you are not sure what to do, please contact your coach!
- As a service to our participants and their families, NYRA will be partnering with WellSpan to provide pre and post concussion testing using the ImPACT web based software. Testing will be required for all Pony and Midget participants in both football and cheerleading. The test is free. Do we anticipate having kids with concussions? No. But this service provides doctors with tools to help properly diagnose a concussion and make recommendations as to when a participant can return to play. More information will be provided at registration.
- Do you know of or work for a business that might be interested in making a donation to the NYRA? Corporate donations are important to our fundraising efforts. If you know of a business that might be interested in making a donation, send them our 2010 Sponsor Letter. Businesses that donate can get ad space in our program. Please give this to your employers and encourage them to donate. All donations are tax deductible.
- COACHES- Don't forget to turn in your child abuse clearance forms and proof of training to Mark Geiser ASAP.
